DRAPERY MEASURING GUIDE
Measuring for Your Draperies
A: Width of Window
Measure from outside edge of molding to outside edge of molding. If your window does not have molding, then measure from the outer most window edges.
B: Length of Window
Measure from top edge of molding to bottom edge of molding. If your window does not have molding, then measure from the outer most window edges.
C: Height of Ceiling
Measure from the bottom edge of crown molding to the floor. If your room does not have crown molding, then measure from the ceiling to the floor.
D: Height from Ceiling to Window
Measure from bottom edge of crown molding to the top of window molding. If you do not have moldings, measure from ceiling to outer most edge of window.
Note: If you already have a drapery rod installed measure:
Width of Rod
Measure the width of the rod itself. Do not include finials in this measurement.
Height of Rod
Measure from rod to floor.
- If you have shutters, shades or blinds installed on your window, make sure 3 1/2" rod hardware projection will clear the shutter, shade or blind.
